Do you offer lactation services?
In addition to being a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I am very passionate about breastfeeding support and education, particularly in regards to protecting supply when breastfeeding doesn’t go well in the early days.
Do I need a physician referral to start physical therapy?
For an evaluation and the first 2 weeks of treatment, no physician referral is required.
How long are your sessions and treatment plans?
The initial evaluation is typically 55-75 minutes, follow up sessions are 25-55 minutes. How many sessions we need to achieve your goals will vary from patient to patient. Some families, I will work with 1-2 times and they feel confident to carry out the home exercises independently. Other families, I will work with for several months as they make incremental progress towards their goals. The best results come from open communication and collaboration between the therapist and family.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Typically, I can accommodate new evaluations within 1 week. Please email for the next available appointment.
